Dave Knight, CFP® was drawn to pursue a career in financial planning in order to facilitate individuals in successfully navigating their paths to financial success. He graduated from Western Michigan University’s Personal Financial Planning program in 2006 and attained his Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2010.
For over a decade, Dave has worked in the financial services industry helping clients achieve greater financial success. Dave then joined the independent team at Stonepath Wealth Management where he now delivers objective and comprehensive financial advice to his clients. Dave is passionate about assisting in all areas of financial planning including investment management and retirement, estate, and insurance planning. He is committed to providing honest and unbiased advice.
In his free time, Dave loves spending time in the Northern Michigan outdoors with his sons, Rhett, Heath, and Leland. He is also an avid distance runner and has competed in numerous area races including several half marathons. As a member of the Traverse City Track Club, Dave supports various local charities through the races he competes in. He also enjoys cooking for his family and friends as an amateur chef and barbecue enthusiast.
